Kaymer remarks on Woods’s chances

Martin Kaymer, the 27-year-old former world’s No. 1 kept a tactful silence if Tiger Woods could reclaim the top rank. The German said that it will take time before Woods scored another wins.

He refused to comment further if Woods would be included again in the top 10 after his career fell when it was tainted with a scandal.

However, Kaymer said, “we will see,” and praising Woods’s success at Arnold Palmer Invitational in Bay Hill which beaten his two and a half years without winning after the exposé on his love life.

Kaymer further said that Woods’s victory was ‘amazing’ and ‘fantastic,’ so he believed that Woods being the best player, time alone will tell when he will be back to achieving more wins in any tournaments again.

Woods, the 36-year-old fourteen-time winner of major events, fell down from the top 50 rank in 2011, but came back to as high as 6th spot. After his failure in US Masters, he now rests in 8th, with Kaymer ahead of him by one place.

Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood, and Luke Donald, who represent the top three, form the tough barrier to both Kaymer and Woods. However, Kaymer said that it only needs patience to regain the position he maintained for eight weeks in 2011. He also said that he is playing fine and sometimes patience is the hardest thing to deal with.

According to Kaymer, the top 5 are all playing very well, and even the top 10 or 15 where everyone plays close together, making every week a great competition.

Kaymer had six birdies against a single bogey, a par-four on the 13th; he missed his chance to get an eagle on the par-five 3rd as the ten-time winner on the European Tour pursues his first win after the WGC-HSBC Champions.

Martin Kaymer expects repeat

Martin Kaymer, the German professional golfer, expects to repeat history at BMW International Open in this week.

This week, BMW International Open starts with a person who is doomed to establish himself as the next person to watch out for. The 27 year old German golfer is one of the most popular golfers in of the time. In his very short golfing career as a professional golfer, he has showed his brilliance.

After he grabbed the number two spot at WGC – Accenture Match Play Championship, Martin Kaymer went to the number one spot in world rankings in the year 2011. He turned into a professional golfer in the year 2005.

Till now, he has 18 wins in professional circuit that includes ten European Tour victories. His very first as well as the only major championship win was at PGA Championship 2010. In that same year, the German got 2010 European Tour Golfer of the Year title.
Previous week’s U. S. Open saw the 27 year old finishing at fifteen spot that was very impressive. Other players like Rory McIlroy and Luke Donald failed to do that as they got out from US Open.

It was in the year 2008 when Martin Kaymer got BMW International Open where he provided a brilliant performance. He won the championship but he went there as an underdog.

After his performance in US Open, the golf star is all set to make his mark at 2012 BMW International Open as looks bright. It is the time when top golf legends like Tiger Woods have come short and the brand new generation of young golfers is coming out with more technique and precision compared to any other golf generation that was in the past.
