Martin Kaymer and Si Woo Kim do not have common things much, but at the Erin Hills, Kim is trying and hoping to change this.


In the year 2014 at Pinehurst, Kaymer won the U.S. Open championship at No. 2 and it happened just weeks after he claimed The Players Championship same year. Now, Kim the golfer from Korea is hoping to follow the footsteps of Kaymer. In the second round, Kim shot a 2-under 70 and at 5 under and with this he sits just two shots behind the lead of clubhouse of Paul Casey.

He said, “The good weather allowed me to play with little comfort here, not much wind was there. However, this morning, I am trying to get aggressive, but the presence of wind is making it hard to happen”.

Kaymer Short With One Shot To Lead HC

If asked one reason, why Martin Kaymer enjoys the tournament Honda Classic, then the answer will be, because in the tournament he doesn’t feel as he has to make birdies in a bunch.


At the PGA National that was taking place in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The same was required to keep pace.

Nedbank Golf Challenge Will Have Kaymer

Martin Kaymer will participate in the Nedbank Golf Challenge and he is expecting to win this championship once again.


The championship is hosted by Gary Player. This is the final tournament of the European Tour, and it will be participated by world leading golf players.

72 players from all corners of the world will participate in this event and will contest for the prize of 7 Million dollars. Participation of Kaymar and Harrington has been confirmed in the tournament and more names are coming up.

Expressing his views on playing Nedbank Golf Challenge, Kaymer said “It is really a great experience to participate in championship that you have won once. This tournament is also going to be fun and off-course I am here to win this championship once again.”

Kaymer Looking For Ryder Cup Spot

Martin Kaymer is looking to win the PGA championship that will help him to easily get a place in the European Ryder cup team.


The ongoing PGA championship is facing rain delays and Kaymer is not worried about playing 36 holes in one day. A lot of players are feeling the change in the schedule to be annoying and disturbing. It is difficult for players to stay mentally focused while they are not teeing off. But this is not a determent for Kaymer and is ready to play 36 holes on a single day.

Kaymer has won the PGA Championship title in 2010 and has only one goal in mind and that is to make it to the Ryder cup team of Europe. Martin Kaymer, as a 2 time major champ, knows everything regarding the highs of life as a pro golf player.

Regrettably the 2 years since his US Open win in 2004 have been the most testing of his playing career. The German player lost his PGA Tour card and he is now confronting the prospect of missing out on Ryder Cup, this year, as well.

Speaking to a leading golf website, he told that generally he is a very patient player. He would not even say that he is stressed now but it is frustrating when you feel like you have it all, and then suddenly you could not even put a good score on the card.

Martin Kaymer Added To The List Of Big Names For Irish Open

McIlroy’s persuasive power ensures another big name in the richest Irish open. US Open champion Martin Kaymer confirmed that he will be joining the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open next month. Kaymer will be accompanied by five current or former players who have been world number one like current Number One Rory McIlroy, Donald, Ernie, Els, and Lee Westwood and eight Major Champions McIlroy, Els, Darren Clarke, Graeme McDowell, Padraig Harrington, José Maria Olazábal and Paul Lawrie. McIlroy’s charity and The Rory Foundation are hosting the Irish Open to support and promote the event in his native Down. The tournament will take place from May 38-31. The Dubai Duty Free is the title sponsor of the tour and the prize fund will increase by 25% to €2.5 million with the 2015 champion taking home €416,660. Last year Mikko Ilonen won the title and took home €333,330.

The championship director Antonia Beggs has said that Rory wishes to reel in more big names in the tournament. 20,000 spectators per day will be able to attend, whereas during the Sunday’s final round they are already close to a sell-out. 22% of the tickets have been bought from outside Northern Ireland.
