The young Martin Kaymer made his debut on the European Tour as a professional back in 2007 at the UBS Hong Kong Open, although he failed to make the cut in the event. He went on to miss the cut in the first five events he participated in. but in March 2008, he managed to make his first when he achieved it at the Singapore Masters, eventually finishing the event tied for the 20th place.

Although he is yet to win a major title, it is only a matter of time before the German lands one of the biggest prizes in the sport and gives some competition to the runaway leader Rory McIlroy.
