Martin Kaymer and Si Woo Kim do not have common things much, but at the Erin Hills, Kim is trying and hoping to change this.


In the year 2014 at Pinehurst, Kaymer won the U.S. Open championship at No. 2 and it happened just weeks after he claimed The Players Championship same year. Now, Kim the golfer from Korea is hoping to follow the footsteps of Kaymer. In the second round, Kim shot a 2-under 70 and at 5 under and with this he sits just two shots behind the lead of clubhouse of Paul Casey.

He said, “The good weather allowed me to play with little comfort here, not much wind was there. However, this morning, I am trying to get aggressive, but the presence of wind is making it hard to happen”.

KAYMER CONCLUDES THE EUROPA-LIST AS THE 17TH

Martin Kaymer who had won a good 67 lap on the 18-hole course, was ahead on the decisive test on Sunday, with a total score of 212 on the 28th shared place. This was despite having fallen way back the day before that.


The 31-year old was occupying the 14th place just before the final event and was hoping to make it into the top ten of the overall rating. HE had taken over the lead from Frenchman Victor Dubuisson before the final round.

The two time Major winner however finished the season finale of the European Tour on 17th place in Dubai with 279 hits on the split, thus falling back in the overall rating.
